Meet Dr. Kwon
Dr. Kwon has become an irreplaceable member of our New London Dental Care family since he moved from NYC in 2017. He has an insatiable passion for dentistry and strives for perfectionism in all of his treatment. He truly values relationships with patients and always puts maximum effort to listen and communicate. His focuses include general, aesthetic, and implant dentistry.
Dr. Kwon graduated Summa Cum Laude at New York University, and also obtained his DDS degree at New York University College of Dentistry. He was honored with Outstanding Achievement in Operative Dentistry by the Academy of Operative Dentistry in his graduating dental school class. Dr. Kwon not only provides services to our local New London community, but also serves as a faculty member at GIA —Gangnam Implant Academy— where he provides education to fellow dentists about dental implant surgery as well as wisdom teeth extractions. The live surgery seminar is held in Tijuana, Mexico.
When he is not providing dental care, you can find him enjoying Starbucks coffee, or playing soccer in Montville & Norwich.
Meet Dr. Lindawatti
Dr. Lindawatti strives to provide personalized comprehensive dental care to restore and maintain your gorgeous smile. As an excellent listener, Dr. Lindawatti prioritizes patients’ comfort while she efficiently delivers quality care. Her dedication and diligence are reflected in her patient’s wonderful smiles. Dr. Lindawatti firmly believes healthy habits begin at home, let our office be your dental home. While earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at NYU, Dr. Lindawatti has contributed to outreaches working with underserved communities at local hospitals.
She continuously seeks out professional development opportunities, allowing her to remain up-to-date in the field of dentistry. Although this NYC native fondly misses NYC’s thin crust pizza and its bright lights, Dr. Lindawatti enjoys catching sunsets and waterfalls while exploring New London’s spectacular hiking sites. Plus, she always appreciates punny jokes— drop by and let's share some laughs!
Meet Dr. Patel
Dr. Patel grew up in North Attleboro Massachusetts where he graduated from high school in the top 10% of his class in 1995. He attended and graduated from Tufts University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 1999. Dr. Patel has always been passionate about oral cancer and was a research associate at Harvard University studying oral cancer while publishing several research papers in prestigious scientific journals. In 2006 Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Connecticut School Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
After dental school, Dr. Patel completed his residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY where he obtained extensive experience in all aspects of modern dental care which includes placing/restoring dental implants, third molar extractions, molar root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and the Middlesex County Dental Society.
Continuing his ideal of excellence in dentistry, Dr. Patel persists with continuing education courses on implants, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. He is active in the community volunteering for both CTMOM (Connecticut Mission of Mercy) and Give Kids a Smile day where he provides free dental care to the underserved people of Connecticut. He is also a board member of the Hispanic Alliance, which provides scholarships, loans and mentorship to the Hispanic community of south east Connecticut. When he is not working, Dr. Patel likes to spend time with his family, travel, read, play basketball and has recently taken up golf.
Meet Dr. Ho
Dr. Tae Chul Ho is originally from Dallas, Texas and went to Baylor University for undergrad with a major in Bachelor of Science. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry and attended a year of Dental residency at St. Barnabas Hospital. He was able to learn all scopes of dentistry including implant dentistry. His passion is to restore teeth and to provide the highest quality service for each of his patients.
During his spare time, he likes to hike and exercise to keep himself in shape mentally and physically.
